Questions from contractors and developers

What should I send to get a quote?

Your architectural plan set as a PDF, plus the window and door schedules if you have them. Add any specs, brand or finish requirements that apply to the project.

Can you quote supply only?

Yes. Choose supply only if your crew or subcontractor will install. Choose supply and install if you want us to coordinate installation through our independent installation partners.

Can you price to the architect’s specification?

Yes. Tell us the specified manufacturer, series, material and glazing. If you are open to alternates, we can include them in the quote so you can compare cost and lead time.

Who performs the installation?

Independent installation partners perform installation. They are separate companies responsible for their own work, insurance and warranties, and their terms apply to the installation.

Which areas do you serve?

Orange County, San Diego County, Los Angeles County and Riverside County. If your project is nearby, send it in and we will let you know.

What does the quote include?

An itemized price by opening, showing product, size, glazing and hardware, with the installation scope stated if you requested it. Anything excluded is listed. Quotes are estimates based on the information provided. They are not binding until confirmed in writing, and pricing and lead times can change.

Matched to your spec

Tell us the specified brand and series and we price it. If your plans leave the brand open, we can suggest options that fit the design and budget.

Dealer network pricing

Our window dealer network can help reduce your project cost. Savings vary by project and product.

Alternates when they help

Where another line could save cost or time, we show it as an alternate so you can compare side by side.

Materials

The right material depends on the architecture, the location and how much maintenance the owner will accept. We help you price the options side by side.

Window frames and exterior door materials up close

Wood

A natural, warm look for traditional and custom architecture. Needs periodic refinishing to keep its appearance.

Clad wood

Wood on the interior with a protective exterior cladding, so you get the interior look with less exterior upkeep.

Aluminum

Slim sightlines and strong frames that handle large spans, which suits modern openings and window walls.

Steel and steel-look

The thinnest profiles for a classic industrial look. True steel needs care near the coast, and steel-look systems offer a similar profile with easier upkeep.

Fiberglass

Stable, low-maintenance frames with good energy performance, and they can be painted to match the design.

Vinyl

A cost-effective, low-maintenance choice for projects with tighter budgets and standard sizes.

Material descriptions are general information only. Performance, appearance, maintenance and code compliance vary by manufacturer and product line, so confirm the specifics for your project with the manufacturer and your design professional.

Our process

You send plans. We return a quote you can put straight into your bid or budget, then coordinate the rest.

Terms of Use

Last updated: October 29, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website and any quote request, communication or other service made available through it (together, the “Services”). The Services are operated by SoCal Window Brokers (“we,” “us,” “our”), a remote business serving Southern California. By using the Services or submitting a quote request, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms, and “you” includes that company.

2. Who we are and what we do

We are an independent broker and quoting coordinator. We help contractors, developers and other trade professionals obtain pricing on windows and exterior doors through our window dealer network, and we may help coordinate delivery and installation. We are not a manufacturer, architect, engineer, building designer, general contractor or installer, and we do not perform construction work. Any installation arranged through us is performed by independent third-party installers and not by us.

3. Quotes are estimates

Any quote, price, estimate, lead time or availability information we provide is based on the information you give us and on information from manufacturers and dealers, and it may change. A quote is not an offer capable of acceptance. No order, contract or sale exists until you and the applicable dealer, manufacturer or installer agree in a signed written order, contract or order confirmation. Quotes may expire, and are subject to product availability, manufacturer price changes, field measurements, site conditions, taxes, freight, and the terms of the party supplying the products or services. We do not guarantee any particular price, cost savings, discount, delivery date or installation date, and savings vary by project.

4. Your responsibility for plans, specifications and compliance

You are solely responsible for:

  • the accuracy and completeness of the plans, schedules, dimensions and other information you give us;
  • verifying measurements and site conditions in the field;
  • selecting products that are suitable for your project;
  • confirming that products meet all applicable building, energy, egress, safety glazing, fire, wind, impact, structural, homeowner association and historic requirements;
  • obtaining all permits and approvals; and
  • making sure products are installed according to the manufacturer’s instructions and applicable law.

Information on this website and in our quotes is general information only. It is not architectural, engineering, legal, construction or other professional advice, and you may not rely on it as such. A quote or take-off prepared from your plans is not a review of your design or of code compliance.

5. Third parties

Manufacturers, dealers, installers, shippers and other third parties are independent of us. We do not control them, and we are not responsible for their products, services, acts, omissions, workmanship, schedules, pricing, insurance, licensing or compliance with law. Any warranty on a product or service is provided solely by the manufacturer, dealer or installer under its own terms, and we make no warranty on their behalf. Direct any claim about a product, delivery or installation to the responsible party.

Brand names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners, are shown for identification only, and do not imply sponsorship or endorsement by those owners. Availability of any brand varies by region and dealer network and may change without notice.

6. Your submissions

When you send us plans, files, links or other information (“Submissions”), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce and share them with dealers, manufacturers, installers and service providers as needed to prepare quotes and provide the Services, as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the right to make the Submissions and that they do not violate any law, confidentiality obligation or third-party right. Do not send us information you are not permitted to share, or sensitive personal information such as Social Security or financial account numbers. We do not guarantee that we will keep any Submission, and we may delete Submissions at any time.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Services unlawfully or to submit false or misleading information; interfere with or disrupt the Services or their security; scrape, copy or harvest content or data; introduce malware; attempt unauthorized access; reverse engineer any part of the website; or impersonate any person or company.

8. Intellectual property

The website and its content, design and branding are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the website for your own internal business purposes to request quotes and learn about our services. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from the website or its content without our written permission.

9. Third-party links

The website may link to third-party websites or services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices. You use them at your own risk.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICES AND ALL CONTENT, QUOTES AND INFORMATION ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY AND AVAILABILITY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY PRODUCT, INSTALLATION, PRICE OR SAVINGS WILL MEET YOUR NEEDS OR EXPECTATIONS.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR OWNERS, MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, GOODWILL OR DATA, OR FOR PROJECT DELAYS, LIQUIDATED DAMAGES, DISRUPTION COSTS, REWORK, REMOVAL OR REINSTALLATION COSTS, PRODUCT DEFECTS, WATER INTRUSION, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES OR ANY PRODUCTS OR SERVICES PROVIDED BY THIRD PARTIES, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID DIRECTLY TO US FOR THE SPECIFIC TRANSACTION GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

Some laws do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you, and in that case our liability is limited to the maximum extent the law allows. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, willful injury or violation of law. To the extent permitted by law, any claim against us must be brought within one (1) year after it arises, or it is permanently barred.

12. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless us and our owners, members, officers, employees, contractors, agents and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: your Submissions; your plans, specifications, measurements or project; your use of the Services; your breach of these Terms; your violation of any law or third-party right; or any dispute between you and a manufacturer, dealer, installer, owner or other third party.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution

Governing law. These Terms and any dispute relating to the Services are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.

Informal resolution first. Before starting any formal proceeding, you agree to send us a written description of the dispute at hello@socalwindowbrokers.com and to try in good faith to resolve it with us for at least 30 days.

Binding arbitration. If the dispute is not resolved, you and we agree that it will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator, in Orange County, California or by video conference. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.

Individual claims only. To the maximum extent permitted by law, all claims must be brought on an individual basis and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, consolidated or representative proceeding, and the arbitrator may not combine claims.

Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief in court to protect its intellectual property. For any matter that is not subject to arbitration, you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Orange County, California.

14. Communications

By submitting a quote request, you agree that we may contact you by email or phone about your request, your quote and our services. You may opt out of promotional communications at any time.

15. Changes and termination

We may change the Services or these Terms at any time by posting an updated version with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the updated Terms. We may suspend access to the Services or decline any quote request at any time and for any reason.

16. General

These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent, and we may assign them freely. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, agency or employment relationship. We are not liable for any delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
